Signs of Pregnancy

  1. Presumptive, those changes felt by the woman (amenorrhea, fatigue, and breast changes)
  2. Probable, those changes observed by an examiner (e.g. Hegar’s sign, bollottement and Pregnancy Tests)
  3. Positive, those signs attributed only to the presence of the fetus (e.g. hearing fetal heart tones, visualizing the fetus, and palpating fetal movements)
